Geology summer school 2023

Do you enjoy collection minerals and rocks and you want to know more about them? Come and join us for an adventure.

Dates: July 9 - 15, 2023

Price: 6 400,- CZK incl. VAT

Price includes:

Accommodation: Penzion na Rychlově (Krkonoše)

Meals: full board (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner, beverages)

Transport: private bus from Brno and back and throughout the whole duration of the Summer school

Entrance fees to museums etc.

Expert-led activities focussing on practical field geology, rock, mineral and fossil determination in field etc.

Department-provided hammers, protective gear (hard hats, goggles etc.)

Other programme: games and prizes

Summer school capacity: 25 children aged 15 to 20

Preliminary programme:

At the Geology Summer School, we mainly teach useful geological skills that can be applied in science and geography classes.
Each day, there will be games and entertaining actvities as well as a competition where interesting prizes will be awarded at the end.
