Geocamp
is a stay-at-home summer camp focusing on field-based geological training. The camp is intended for children aged 11 - 20.

Dates: August 7 – 11, 2023
Price: 2 100,- CZK incl. VAT
Please pay for Geocamp by July 20, 2023. The payment can be made via the Masaryk university shopping centre.
Preliminary programme
At Geocamp, we will find go looking for interesting fossils and minerals each day. At several localities, we will learn how geology and archaeology can be connected, discovering the nature of a geologist's work in practice. We will also visit some localities only accessible to geologists.

What should I bring?
In general, all children should bring:
- outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear - hiking boots (depending on the weather: raincoat, watrproofs including boots etc.)
- food and water for the field day
- lighter hammer (we can also provide department hammers), plastic bags and newspaper to store samples in
